Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe-Po4) BATTERY

LiFePO4 batteries (also known as Lithium Iron Phosphate) are a huge improvement over lead acid in weight, capacity and shelf life.

LiFePO4 batteries are the safest type of Lithium batteries as they will not overheat, and even if punctured they will not catch on fire, and are way Safer and more advanced than the older Lithium-ion (TELSA) battery technology !

LiFePo4 battery technology cost from @$520 per kW, they come with a 3 year warranty and 3'600 Cycle life at 80% DOD, and 10'000 cycle life at 60% DOD, that equates to approx. 10 or 16 years.

These batteries are Lightweight, Affordable & sold in Single units or up to 52kWh Tower Cabernet's.

The 26kWh and 52kWh towers are recommended to use 12kW inverter, all batteries can provide backup power for the state grid if grid connected.

For Household & Vehicle electricity (.pdf) demand different choice of different components.

  • 32pcs 50Ah LiFePo4 battery, 16S2P etc. depending on the voltage required.
  • 25.6V DC ~ 51.2V DC, 200A/100Ah, 5.2kWh rated capacity.
  • Customisable MMPT battery charge controller, provides system life maximisation.
  • Long cycle life 3500 times at least, on 80% DOD (3'650 ÷ 365 =10 years or longer if not over discharged)
  • High reliability intelligent battery management system (BMS), unique automatic calibration active balancing Technology.
  • 51.2Vdc voltage output, suitable for home Energy storage system, communication stations, mobile homes, and other application.
  • Standard CAN & RS485 communication port, CAN port meets the requirement of several batteries connected in parallel, Master & Slave relationship, Monitor and other prolongation functions.
  • Standard: 5.20kWh NiFePO4 battery (.pdf), generally used for premises requiring Sunset to Sunrise power.
  • NEW: 7.68kWh Black NiFePO4 battery (.pdf), designed for those premises requiring a little more energy then the 5.2kWh battery.
  • NEW: Special 10.24kWh Black Wombat battery (.pdf), designed to be mobile vehicle or used in premises.
  • NEW: 25.60kWh & 52kWh Tower Cabernet racking (.pdf), designed for Higher energy consumers.
  • Optional: USB-CAN computer monitoring Dongle and Software available, approx. $160.00.
