88.5KW Solar Farm Return-On-Investment (ROI) Calculator.

It only takes 10x DART-15 Units fitted with 590W Solar Panels to Generate 88.5kW Peak Energy per Hour !

DART-15 Units require 15mt Spacing between each unit to minimise Shading, less distance on a North/South Spacing on North sloping ground.

Keeping your Solar Array under 100kW, allows you to remain eligible to Claim the One off Government STC's Payment, as shown below!

This is a great opportunity to Self Fund an ongoing income for 25+ years!

Please Note: Only the RED cells can be changed, currently set for a 100KW DART Solar Array.

 1) Energy Generation;

 Enter Solar Panel Quantity:

 Solar Panels.

 Installing 500W panels requires 200 panels, and 14x DART-15 Units.
 Select Solar Panel Power:

   *Total Solar Panel Cost: $
 Select Solar Racking Type:

 For accurate calculations, solar arrays effected by Shading from trees, buildings or terrain, reduce the hours of Generation!

 2) Small-scale Technology Certificates (STC);

 Standard Government Deeming Period for STC's:

 STC's set to End in January 2030.

 NB: STC are limited to a maximum 100kWh system. Click Here to Calculate YOUR System STC Quantity

  Systems STC's to be Paid: $

 Calculate the Government STC Price, by setting the above STC PRICE to the current price.

 *Approx. REC spot prices is $38 in June 2020.

 3) System Generation, Consumption & Feed-In-Tariff or P2P Income;

Daily Solar Energy GENERATED:

 Enter The Site Energy CONSUMPTION:

 The System's EXCESS Power field above MUST be Positive, if not, increase the Solar Generation, as more Energy reduces the break-even period!

 4) Enter Your Local Retailer Energy Rate:

 Change to your local Retailer Energy Rate:

 *Estimated TOTAL Installation Cost:

$ Labour: 10x DART's @$5'000each =$50k, +Trenching etc. Self Installation=Big Savings !

*STC Payment if Claimed:

$ STC's are Paid in a one-off lump sum amount, after CEC inspector approval.

 *Yearly Self-Consumption SAVINGS:

$ ONLY applies if you Consume some of your Solar energy, as set above!

 *Yearly Feed-in-Tarrif or P2P INCOME:

$ ONLY applies if you are State Grid connected, and Exporting at the Rate Set above!

 *Return-On-Investment (ROI) Break-Even Point:

 Years  based on the figures entered above, enter your own figures !

 You can ONLY Change the above RED Fields to see the Investment Payback Time!

 7) Solar Farm Cost;

Solar Array Capital Expense:

$per kW   OR  $ per Watt  = Total System Cost, less STC's ÷ by System kW.

 Solar Levelised Cost of Energy LCOE:

$ per kW  LCOE = Total System Cost ÷ 25 year Power Generation.

 LCOE is Calculated on the total out of pocket Cost ÷ 25 years (assumed lifetime) ÷ Array kW.

 8) Solar Farm - Potential Return-On-Income (ROI) Payback time;

                ROI after Break-Even-Point:

$  $  $  $ for Your Energy.

 You can ONLY Change the above RED Fields to see the Investment Payback Time!

Planing procedures for the Serous Investor;

Firstly the local Power Distributor (Not the Retailer) has to approve if there transmission infrastructure can handle the additional kW of Power, then you can start planing your DA and PPA.

Secondly, if you are Not intending to do any of the solar farm Installation yourself, *Allow additional costs for the Installation & Commissioning, for the Design, Planning & Approvals for the full installation of a 100kW Solar Array.

This Calculator shows the Return On Investment (ROI) of a 100Kw DART Solar Farm using 103kWh LiPO4 Energy Storage.

NB: (*) Above Equipment cost is calculated on Exchange Rate of $0.75, for the Supply of 10x DART-15-700 Units including Foundation Poles, Main Mast with 100cm Ground clearance, 143x 700W Double Glazed (5 pallets=155 Panels) Bi-facial, Shingled, Monocrystalline Solar Panels, 100kW ATESS Inverter & Solar DC Cabling etc.

We can provide an experienced PV System Installers contact details, however this is paid for Service!

Important: *Please note that all amounts and estimates shown above can be set to suit multiple configurations, and are used for symbolic estimation purpose only.  The actual figure depends on lots of issues including quantity of sun (cloud coverage), Fixed panels, Single Axis-solar or Dual Axis-solar Tracking, Cabling (AC/DC), electrical connections and electronic losses etc.  These amounts and figures should be considered as example only, and under whatever circumstances, we do not make any guarantee, or cannot be held responsible about these estimates, if used as an actual return to investment due to the ever evolving Energy sector!
