Dual Axis-solar Radiation Tracker (DART)

Mobile Solar Tracking Power Station

This DART-1 unit is now being Converted into a DART-3 Trailer Mounted Unit.

If interested in Purchasing a Bespoke Mobile DART Power Station, please fill in this Form.

Below images are of our first free standing DART-1 Prototype:

This DART unit has been relocated 3 times, and had several upgrade changes over the past years.

As this prototype was largely manufactured out of Scrap material, the main change we recommend to anyone wanting to Manufacture there own DART Unit, would be to use a larger Diameter Mast, as even though this unit has been purposely left in High Wind conditions, it has never bent, the 60mm Water Pipe used as the Mast is to small a diameter as it flexes.

Chinese DART Controller Module uses Relays.

Polish DART Controller Module uses Automotive MOSFETS.

What Hight are the solar panels in the Stow Position ?

This prototype DART unit is now mounted onto a box Trailer.

However the Panels in the Horizontal Night or High Wind Stow Position can be manufactured to provide between 200cm~300cm ground clearance.

These DART units can be manufactured higher to compensate for the surrounding Shading from Trees, Buildings &/or Terrain, but this will make the installation more unstable in Very Gusty Winds during the 2~3 minutes it takes the Racking to automatically Stow to Horizontal position.
